Adamello Brenta Natural Park - The path of three alpine shelters

This self made path allow you to reach three alpine shelters of Pradel, Montanara and Croz dell'Altissimo. Take the Molveno chairlift that lead you to the Pradel Shelter. Take the road on your right and then walk along the ski tracks until to reach the Tovre Alpine summer pasture where is possible to buy cheese, butter and other products here made. Now take the forest road fallowing the tracks of another chairlift until to see the Shelter Montanara at the feet of the Mountain Palon del Tovre; here there is a play area for children and you can taste typical alpine dish (with game). After a short pause take the caves path (sentiero grotte) towards Shelter of Croz dell'Altissimo, (path n. 340bis and then the n. 340). This route is not quite signalled and we advice you to have a path map of this area. Cross the forests and rocky ravines and admire the the magnificent scenery of the Dolomites di Brenta and in 1,30h you arrive to the Shelter located to the feet of the homonymous top. Here we enjoyed a good spezzatino with mush and mushrooms. To return take the path signalled to Molveno (n. 322 and then n. 319) that following the course of the Rio Mosso and leads to the Alpine Hut Ciclamino (bar) and then to the village in about two hours.
